I think Domino's new pizza sauce is great, their pizza is so much better than what it was. The other day I decided to place an order for delivery online. On their website (www.dominos.com) there was a coupon tab, so I checked it out and found a great deal...three large pizzas with one topping for $7/each. I clicked on the coupon and made my selections, one with pepperoni, one with mushrooms, and one with hot peppers. I then proceeded to the checkout where I noticed I was being charged $7.77 per pizza (not including tax and delivery charge), I became furious assuming this was part of a bait an switch.
I fired of an email to Domino's received an email back that was extremely generic, I was not pleased with this and sent them another email, one that had measurable numbers in it. Thanks to Yahoo.Finance I was able to estimate how many stores Domino's operates in the USA/world, which happens to be 8,533. So lets say that each of those stores has one consumer daily that uses the three large for seven dollars coupon, and let's assume that the 77 cents is pure profit. In a year of this bait and switch Domino's would yield $2.4 million [( 8533 x .77 ) 365] = 2398199.65.
$2,398,199.65 is what it is costing the ultimate consumer for this error, whether it is intentional or not...only Domino's knows.
What does everyone else think? Do you think Domino's knows about this error and are making some dough (no pun intended) on it?Is Domino's Pizza ripping off the consumer for millions of dollars?

Ok, sounds good, so I use the tracker, 40 minutes go by, ok.. so I call. They tell me yeah sorry were running late, I said ok well what do I get, my "pizza tracker" is at 40 min. "nothing, that's just a timer" was the responce.

So, I order the 2 pizzas, and the guy says that will be $26.00. I said it is 2-for-1 Tuesday. He says "Oh, I guess you could do it that way too -- you owe $13.00".
He made it sound like either way was okay. Duh....

I recently pulled out a Domino's Pizza flyer out of my local newspaper here in Connecticut, and there was a coupon deal which was a pretty good deal...it was a 1 large 1 topping pizza with a free order of bread for only $9.99. I did use this coupon right away but, forgot to write down the code for that coupon which was clearly there on the coupon. I do remember the code starts with 80**...81** definetely started with 8, that I'm sure of....It's not a coupon within the 9K series and is not the heavily advertised "HONEST" code which is very similar but, includes a 2-Liter bottle of coke at $13.99....The one I'm talking about is the same but, without the soda at $9.99. Area = 3.14 * 6^2 = 113 square inches.
Area of 6 slices = 113 square inches

Repeat the procedure for the 14 inch pizza. You should get 19.23 square inches. (There does not seem to be much difference. Check this carefully.)
Cost 12 inch pizza = 150 cents / 18.84 square inches = 7.96 cents per square inch.
Similarly the 14 inch pizza = 170 / 19.23 = 8.84 cents

I hate to say this, but neither of the previous two answers seem to me to be correct. It is surprising the variety of answers that you will get. You have to take the deal that will give you the most quantity for your dollar. It is how much you get to eat that is important, not the cost per pizza nor the circumfrance which is only the outline. On second thought maybe the circumfrance one is OK. I'd have to work it out. Yes it does give the 12 inch pizza as the better deal. 23 cents per linear inch vs 30 cents per linear inch. (I'd still do it my way because it is actually more complete).
Work out the circumference of the two different sized pizzas first and then divide the circumference of each pizza by how many slices there are. then you will see how big each slice is, based on it's crust circumference. Compare the size of the crusts to the cost of the slice and one will be more expensive than the other.Help me with this pizza problem!?

there's no food in my house so my boyfriend bought a frozen pizza. there's no box so idont kno what a good degree is to preheat %26amp;keep it @? also there's cardboard under the pizza should I remove it %26amp;let it sit on the rack naked considering I have no baking sheets or should I let the pizza sit on it? help please I've never dealt with frozen pizza b fore lol.

Do NOT put the cardboard into the oven! The cardboard should day what temp to bake it at. Look under the pizza or on the back of the cardboard. You could just bake it on the oven rack. Or you could put it on some aluminum foil and bake it that way.
maybe try grilling it. my friends mom was doing that at her house. Just grill it until it looks hot enough and golden brown on the crust
in oven: take the cardboard off whatever you are doing. maybe put it 350 degrees and just put it on the rack.

Everytime I go to my grandparents, they always have a special thing made for my younger brother who has proclaimed he is a vegetarian. At the Pizza Hut I work at, we got rid of the Extra Large. It was only available in one type of dough, which was like a Hand Tossed style dough, but not as thick or tasty. It wasn't very good and people only bought it because it was cheaper. I think all the stores in my district got rid of that size as well. I don't know that I'd go as far as saying they completely suck, but I do think they, along with MOST other pizza companies, are ridiculously over-priced. Their pizza lacks flavor. I don't know if it's the type of dough they use to make their crust, or if it's the pizza sauce, but it's missing something.
If I'm at a party and someone orders from Dominos, I'll eat it. It's ok. It's better than microwave frisbees, I mean "pizzas", but I usually don't go out of my way to order from these guys OR their competition.
The Domino's where i live isn't that bad. I'm not too fond of their pizza though i don't like the crust on it, too much garlic. but once they got an order wrong for us ( they left off the pepperoni) but then we got another pizza for free.

I work at a chain pizza place, just not one of those, and my AGM works 40+ hours a week, most often opening in the mornings at 8 with me, and not leaving until 5-8 p.m. depending on the need.
To be a good manager you need to listen and diffuse complaints from employees and customers, and know how to do inventory, ordering, and tracking sales. On top of running the POS and doing projections. And make a daily run to the bank for the deposit. And take care of situations like when the make tables or fridges go down, supervise the repairman, make phone calls, take care of paperwork for corporate, and kick the bums away from hanging around the back door.
All while trying to get your prep work done, the order put away, dealing with people who call in sick, etc.
I've been a manager before at my own place until 2004. I still have no desire to be a manager ever ever again. But hey, give it a shot! Maybe it's something up your alley and you enjoy the problem-solving and organizational skills. Just be aware that you'll now be in charge of your co-workers and you can't be afraid to lay the smack down on them for stealing or laziness and such. You're no longer a buddy at work, you'll be the boss.

I get Chinese food delivered several times a day, but I get nervous. Do Chinese restaurants (or Thai or Mexican or Pizza or whatever) cut deals with the INS and FBI? Say I have guns, drugs, and or firearms in plain sight in my doorway. Do you think the deliverymen take note and report the authorities? real excellent quality pizza can be healthy.. good quality dough for the bread.. good homemade sauce, real mozarella cheese.. nice ripe fresh veggies all over it.. mmmm! I make my own and its wonderfully healthy..
also think out of the box... here in the middle east we are of the greek origin.. we make pizzas of all sorts.. there are clay ovens in the markets and they make their dough fresh there in front of you and put anything on it like yogurt cheese with greek spice blends, or ground lamb and pine nuts.. sometimes spinach and feta cheese.. or spinach and tomato.. sometimes cheese and olive.. the combo is endless and they bake these over a flame in the clay oven till browned. OH heaven isnt a word to describe these wonders... mmmmm!

Maybe you aren't getting a good one? I think a lot of pizza isn't so great, too bready and not enough toppings. I like a pizza with a thin crust, loads of cheese and plenty of toppings. Most grocery pizzas aren't that great. Find a decent take out that will give you what you want. Yeah, I'd like a nice seafood dinner over pizza anyday, but it's fine if you are with your friends watching a movie or sports or whatever.

I agree, most shop bought ones are not good quality. We make our own, although I sometimes buy the base ready made. I know exactly what is going into it that way. I think they sell so many because it is a quick meal %26amp; can be delivered, so no cooking or even heating is needed. I was brought up in the age where you cooked from scratch, not only a lot cheaper but more healthy. Now you can buy mince %26amp; potatoes in a tin........if you read the list of ingredients it would surprise you. Keep on cooking .
I hate it!! And think it's one of the most overestimated foods there are.It's a lazy option than preparing a decent meal of fresh veg and so on. I had an Sicilian friend and you never saw a pizza on the table in that house, only great Italian food. OK it all takes a lot more preparation but the results are just fabulous food.

Maybe you aren't getting a good one? I think a lot of pizza isn't so great, too bready and not enough toppings. I like a pizza with a thin crust, loads of cheese and plenty of toppings. Most grocery pizzas aren't that great. Find a decent take out that will give you what you want. Yeah, I'd like a nice seafood dinner over pizza anyday, but it's fine if you are with your friends watching a movie or sports or whatever.

I make my own pizza using good quality ingredients.i stopped buying ready made ones because they were discusting.its a lot cheaper to make your own and you can use whatever toppings you want

I agree, most shop bought ones are not good quality. We make our own, although I sometimes buy the base ready made. I know exactly what is going into it that way. I think they sell so many because it is a quick meal %26amp; can be delivered, so no cooking or even heating is needed. I was brought up in the age where you cooked from scratch, not only a lot cheaper but more healthy. Now you can buy mince %26amp; potatoes in a tin........if you read the list of ingredients it would surprise you. Keep on cooking .
I hate it!! And think it's one of the most overestimated foods there are.It's a lazy option than preparing a decent meal of fresh veg and so on. I had an Sicilian friend and you never saw a pizza on the table in that house, only great Italian food. OK it all takes a lot more preparation but the results are just fabulous food.

About 5%. Not worth it. You have to sell TONS of cheap pizza(or $1million/year gross) just to make a decent living. The corporate franchise fees and overhead kills what profit you do realize.

I don't think Pizza will go well when all the aging baby boomers(the ones with all the money- not the kids...who only want Pizza) suddenly want to reduce their waists. These pizzas would probably be about 20 bucks a pop if you ordered them in the store, thats how much good stuff they have and how big that are. It would mean more work but probably more pizzza and tastier pizza for your guests. I swear those walmart pizzas are better than anything you get in a resturant and I love my pizza.

I ordered a pizza the other night over the interenet for delivery. It was only a Pizza mia deal costing æ‹¢7.99 so not a large order.
I waited an hour then rang the landline for my local pizza hut. There was no answer. Kept trying and trying but still the same.
An hour and 30 minutes later the delivery man came, I got out a æ‹¢10 note to pay for my meal but he had no change. (what sort of company sends their driver out with no change when i clearly selected the option saying cash on delivery!!!) He tried ringing his manager to see what he should do. . but yet again no answer. So He suggested coming back later with my change but i said no. And i had to search around looking for change! All of this lasted 20mins.
By the time he had gone i opened my pizza and it was even smaller than when i usually get a Mia! it was stone cold and the cheese had gone all crusty around the edges. It was disgusting. I tried to ring up to complain again.... but yet again NO ANSWER!!Does anyone have a contact email to complain to pizza hut? or a complaints line.?

I waited an hour then rang the landline for my local pizza hut. There was no answer. Kept trying and trying but still the same.
An hour and 30 minutes later the delivery man came, I got out a æ‹¢10 note to pay for my meal but he had no change. (what sort of company sends their driver out with no change when i clearly selected the option saying cash on delivery!!!) He tried ringing his manager to see what he should do. . but yet again no answer. So He suggested coming back later with my change but i said no. And i had to search around looking for change! All of this lasted 20mins.
By the time he had gone i opened my pizza and it was even smaller than when i usually get a Mia! it was stone cold and the cheese had gone all crusty around the edges. It was disgusting. I tried to ring up to complain again.... but yet again NO ANSWER!!Does anyone have a contact email to complain to pizza hut? or a complaints line.?

Maybe this link will help...its a way to contact Pizza Hut. You can select that you had an unsatisfactory experience and your state and provide your birth date to then comment on your experience with Pizza Hut. But if you don't live in the U.S. I don't think this will help...

And it's like an Eva Zeisel ceramic or glass object or rank Lloyd Wright house--it's supposed to be the best when you're actually interacting with it. Only she and he makes use objects and architectural spaces, and this one is "edible".
Just thinking about a new pizza combinations, starting with a starring flavor and something to match with it, is a trick I use to stimulate my mind to the exploring of other new territories, in fiction, strategic thinking, inspiration musically, etc.
I think what I like best about any pizza is designing it--then at the point where I take the finished example out of the oven and I've been smelling it for 8 minutes or so and get to see it--the colors like a tesseract abstract design and the presentation as it cools for five minutes before being sliced--that's the best part. Other than eating it of course...

OK last time I was in New York I discovered white pizza. Now I don't really like pizza but this thin crust, ricotta and spinach type deal was awesome. I have checked the Internet but can only find Pizza pie. I tried making it using ricotta cheese, parmesan and feta but it was not right - not juicy. How do they make those thin sliced, white pizzas????White pizza recipe?

2 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone, 1 pouch
10 fresh basil leaves, 1/2 cup, shredded
Preheat a pizza stone if you use one along with the oven to 425 degrees F.
Stretch dough to form a pie and transfer to stone or pizza baking tray. Pierce the dough with the tines of a fork in several places. Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil around the crust. Mix the ricotta cheese with garlic and parsley and season it with salt and black pepper. Spread the ricotta across the dough. Top the pizza with mozzarella or provolone. Bake until crispy, 20 minutes. Top the white pizza pie with the shredded basil leaves, cut and serve.
I'm not sure about the measurements, but when I order white pizza from our local italian place, they put on ricotta, mozzerella, garlic, broccoli, and sometimes eggplant. You can play around with those ingredients to get it how you like.White pizza recipe?

Heat oven to 450 degrees. (Heat pizza pan for 5 to 10 minutes if desired.) Brush Boboli crust with oil so the entire crust is covered. Sprinkle spices over crust to taste. Take thawed and drained spinach and spread it over the crust (it will be clumpy). Add mushrooms; top with shredded cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Place pizza on pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese browns and is bubbly.

PIZZA BIANCA (WHITE PIZZA)
1 loaf frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
Or any bread dough recipe
2 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. white wine, optional
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 c. shredded mozzarella
1 c. shredded provolone
Roll bread dough on lightly floured surface to fit pizza pan or baking sheet. Place on oiled pan. Pinch edges of dough into 1/2 inch rim all the way around pizza.
In medium saucepan saute garlic until soft. Blend in cornstarch, salt, pepper and spices. Gradually add milk, wine and Parmesan cheese. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, cook approximately 2 minutes. Let white sauce cool slightly.
Brush dough surface with small amount of olive oil. Then spread white sauce over crust. Sprinkle mozzarella and Provolone over sauce. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Sm. jar artichoke hearts in oil
Sm. can sliced olives
Sm. can sliced mushrooms

I tried it for something different because I always have a veggie pizza without that awful eggplant. So, I ordered the pizza with tomato chunks, mushrooms, onions with pineapple and ham and the pizza was out of this world. The flaver mixing and every bite was different. It is a mood thing but when the taste buds call thats what I order.
I also tried pineapple and shrimp on a white pizza and that was devine. Yes, garlic and pineapple love each other.
I would not try pineapple on pizza through a chain for example, but my pizzas were from a little, local place.

Hey on Oprah today she was showing how different countries eat/prepare pizza.
pineapple and ham did NOT even come from Hawaii, shock to me, I thought it did.
However, I forgot where it was from.
I wanted to try something different, so I got my usual pepperoni, bell pepper, and onion, but I had them add pineapple to it. It just added a little sweetness and was delicious. I've gotten it several times.
Everyone has different tastes, but don't knock it 'till you've tried it. It's much better than you would imagine. Now it's different if you don't like pineapple in the first place.
Side note: I used to get Wendy's side salad and ask them to take the pineapple off, but they'd almost always forget, so I tried it, with my usual blue cheese dressing. Now when I have salad with blue cheese (lettuce with maybe carrot and cabbage, but no beets or other stuff like that), I always get blue cheese dressing and I add pineapple with the pineapple juice to it. Looks absolutely awful, but tastes absolutely delicious. Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be eating something like that!

No. Pineapple has no business being on a pizza. People don't go putting mango and grapefruit on pizza, so why pineapple? It's no different in my opinion.

I thought ewww... at first, but it's actually quite good with bacon or ham. I guess it would be considered an "acquired taste".

This pizza is popular for the same reason people like chocolate covered pretzels, raisins in a nutty trail mix, popcorn and soda.

It's the greatest thing on the planet. It should be new the new currency. Pinapple with canadian bacon and pizza. can't beat that. I guesse its a matter of tastebuds.

ermm, i would say about 10 pounds, just to be safe though i would bring 15

If there is a wing street attached to it, there are often daily specials. I would recommend taking about 15 to 20 dollars so that you can get what you want and have money for the tip. I think, Though I am not sure it applies to all pizza huts, You can get a Pizza for around 5 dollars.How much money shall i bring to pizza hut?
You can get a personal pan pizza for $5-$6, the buffet will cost around $7.00 it has pizza, dessert pizza, salad, and bread sticks. A soda drink will cost you around $2.00 but you get free refills. I would say you would need around $10- $15.
i always take 30 but pay for two people so i would say 15 20 quid so you don't have to worry and if your a student you can get 10% discount
