How much did it cost you for gas? Like per hour or shift? and if you can remember your cars gas mileage, that'd be helpful. Should I expect a lot of waiting around time and stuff? Im getting paid $12-15/hour and want to know if this is a good deal for this kind of job?Anyone ever had a delivery driving job? Not a pizza delivery but just general delivery?
My gas was paid for by the company who employed me. At another similar job the pay was very good, so gas was paid for by employees.
Mileage and gas usage would depend on the type of delivering one was doing. As for waiting around, again depends on the job. Some folks deliver important papers and packages, so similar to UPS etc, you just drop off, get a signature and move on to the next drop off. If your job would entail waiting around you should still be getting hourly pay.
Things like mileage depend on the job, on what you're delivering.
Keep in mind you're selling off your car bit by bit. Oh and that any money you get for mileage or gas is taxable income. The good news is you can deduct it as a business expense.
i have a feeling that the fact that your hourly wage is variable means you've been suckered into some sales scam, where you'll need to make sales at the door, not just deliver.Anyone ever had a delivery driving job? Not a pizza delivery but just general delivery?
You have been reported.
You have deliberately asked two question to avoid losing -10 points.
