seriously, i dont understand why people like pizza so much, its just bread, cheese, %26amp; tomato sauce not even good quality bread, cheese, or tomato sauce! can someone explain this to me? thanks!

real excellent quality pizza can be healthy.. good quality dough for the bread.. good homemade sauce, real mozarella cheese.. nice ripe fresh veggies all over it.. mmmm! I make my own and its wonderfully healthy..
also think out of the box... here in the middle east we are of the greek origin.. we make pizzas of all sorts.. there are clay ovens in the markets and they make their dough fresh there in front of you and put anything on it like yogurt cheese with greek spice blends, or ground lamb and pine nuts.. sometimes spinach and feta cheese.. or spinach and tomato.. sometimes cheese and olive.. the combo is endless and they bake these over a flame in the clay oven till browned. OH heaven isnt a word to describe these wonders... mmmmm!

I do like good quality pizza! I don't eat frozen pizza I only eat fresh pizza with good quality ingredients and it's yummy!
you have obviously never eaten pizza how it's supposed to be - very thin and with great ingredients - go to Italy and eat with Italians I think you will change your mind!
But therein lies its beauty melted cheese, without a pizza is harly worth talking about...Its such a versatile dish and you can put really good stuff on it like loads of meat and jalepoenos hmmmm, I want one...

Maybe you aren't getting a good one? I think a lot of pizza isn't so great, too bready and not enough toppings. I like a pizza with a thin crust, loads of cheese and plenty of toppings. Most grocery pizzas aren't that great. Find a decent take out that will give you what you want. Yeah, I'd like a nice seafood dinner over pizza anyday, but it's fine if you are with your friends watching a movie or sports or whatever.

I make my own pizza using good quality ingredients.i stopped buying ready made ones because they were discusting.its a lot cheaper to make your own and you can use whatever toppings you want
It just tastes good. I love to use about three or four different kinds of cheese's and add pepperoni. Yum!
I agree, most shop bought ones are not good quality. We make our own, although I sometimes buy the base ready made. I know exactly what is going into it that way. I think they sell so many because it is a quick meal %26amp; can be delivered, so no cooking or even heating is needed. I was brought up in the age where you cooked from scratch, not only a lot cheaper but more healthy. Now you can buy mince %26amp; potatoes in a tin........if you read the list of ingredients it would surprise you. Keep on cooking .
I hate it!! And think it's one of the most overestimated foods there are.It's a lazy option than preparing a decent meal of fresh veg and so on. I had an Sicilian friend and you never saw a pizza on the table in that house, only great Italian food. OK it all takes a lot more preparation but the results are just fabulous food.

Because it's addictive. The casein in the cheese does it. Everybody wants a fix. Fast food giants know this and are making billons.

You obviously haven't come across a great pizza then! But I do get what you mean, but hey, each to their own.
I can't fathom out what all the fuss is either - and more to the point, why do they charge so much for it when the average cost of the ingredients for a large one is about ten pence ! ! !
