Do you think pizza delivery would be a good weekend job?

I am looking for a weekend job that will throw me some extra cash and give me something to do (maybe meet some new people). I work during the week and have a good job, so the money is not really a big deal to me. My car has good gas mileage and I am pretty good with directions (with a map or gps). Do you think pizza delivery would be a good fit for me?Do you think pizza delivery would be a good weekend job?
It all depends on the neighborhood you are delivering in. A higher income area will give you more tips and be safer for you to deliver in.
Possibly, yes. The difficulty I see immediately is that you claim to be good with directions "with a map or gps": you'll be a much better delivery person if you don't rely on those tools much.



While you will have something to do, you probably won't meet all that many people - the staff at pizza delivery places is typically fairly small, and you don't really "meet" many of the people to whom you'd deliver.



That said, give it a shot! If you don't like it, you can always quit (on good terms, of course) since you're not in it for the money.Do you think pizza delivery would be a good weekend job?
Pizza delivery is alright. Not sure you'll be meeting exciting new people. You're more likely to meet cheap ppl that don't tip over cool customers.



I delivered for quite a while. Be prepared to have problems with your car if you don't stay on top of your maintenance. Also, make sure you get some kind of reimbursement for your mileage b/c you'll be using a lot of gas.



One thing to also consider is that they may not hire you because of your limited schedule...that'd be up to management though.
It's not a good job sometimes people don't give tip and you will start to harbor grudges and try to remember who gave less tip so you can mess with their food. Not worth it. Better be a waiter
I deliver for a non-pizza restaurant and it is great. I make about 80 dollars a night in tips and I do meet exiting people. I also love the independence of being out on the road. Weekends also tip the best.
Pizza delivery sounds very good because you'll probably get free pizzas and you will often make deliveries to porn stars' addresses and get laid and then get paid. Go for it.
