Remember when it was crunchy and over all delightful but now that any crust/any topping deal for $10 has totally ruined it for me. They completely taste different and not for the better. Pizza Hut is not Pizza Hut anymore.When will Pizza Hut's crust actually taste good again?
I'm a manager at a Pizza Hut. Actually, the crust changed about two years ago, when they started giving us self-rising dough. Previously, we sprayed a sort of butter-oil around the edge when we were prepping the dough in the morning, and customers did notice the difference in taste back then. I'm surprised it has taken you this long, although depending on your location, and whether the store is corporate or franchise, maybe they just now switched to the new dough. As for the $10 thing, we haven't changed anything in the recipe to compensate for the change in price =)
