What is more profitable for a student: having a job or participating in basic entrepreneurial activities?

What is better, $8-$10/hour stabile-income job?

Or doing very simple business? By that I mean:

-Buying/selling on eBay

-Freelancing (online and offline - includes tutoring, graphics design, etc.)

-Buying bulk quantities of pizza and selling them at college or a swap meet

-Internet marketing (affiliate marketing, blogging)

-Dealing drugs (yes people do it)What is more profitable for a student: having a job or participating in basic entrepreneurial activities?
I do the stable income approach. I also seem to be better off then all my friend that constantly talk about freelance money making ideas.

Not that this means anything, but maybe it does. What is more profitable for a student: having a job or participating in basic entrepreneurial activities?
Nothing wrong about holding an stable-income job. But if you still got enough time on you, why not go into an online business that you can attend to after your day job? There's a lot of lucrative online businesses that you can engage if you have the right web marketing stuff. You can even get help from web marketing services or internet marketing coaches.
