If a 10 inch pizza is $12.50 and a 16 inch is $24.95, which is the better deal? I can't remember the formulas?

Area of a circle is pi * r^2

The 10 in pizza is 78.54 sq.in (3.14159* 5^2) or $0.16 per sq.in.

The 16 in pizza is 201.06 sq.in (3.14159* 8^2) or $0.12 per sq. in.

The 16 in pizza is a 28% better deal.

make them both the same size

so 12.50/10 inches= 1.25 per inch

24.95/ 16 inches = 1.55 per inch

so the 10 inch is the better deal
