Yummy, vegetarian pizza?

Here's the deal, I really want to make a pizza, but I'm vegetarian. I know this is a bit out there, but I'd really like an eggless curst, other than that, everything is fine, ideas?Yummy, vegetarian pizza?
1. Get the pizza crust kit from Walmart.,

2. Recipe

Ingredients:

2 3/4 cups All Purpose flour (Plain flour or Maida)

1 cup lukewarm water

1 tablespoon dry active yeast

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and let it sit for about 20 minutes or until the yeast becomes frothy.

2. Add sugar, salt and oil to the flour and mix well.

3. Add the yeast water and make into a dough. The dough should be soft and a little sticky. Add more water if needed.

4. Cover the dough and let it sit for about four hours. The dough should be double in volume.

5. Knead the dough well using a little dry flour.

Pizza:

1. Pre-heat the oven to 500 degrees, placing a pizza stone inside for about 30 minutes so the pizza stone will be hot.

2. Divide the dough in to two equal parts and roll into two 8 inch diameter pizzas.

3. Place over greased cookie sheets. Put about a half teaspoon of olive oil over the pizza. Evenly spread the gravy mixture onto the pizza.

4. Slide the cookie sheet on the pizza stone and let it cook for about five minutes.

5. To make a crispy pizza crust, remove the pizza from the cookie sheet and place over the pizza stone.

6. Let it cook for about 7 minutes, or until the edges are golden-brown.

Good Luck

Yummy, vegetarian pizza?
Well depending on how strict of a vegeterian, would depend on the kind of cheese you would use. I love TOFUTI cheese, but I also eat dairy products, and do not mind cheddar. I start of with lots of cheese, chopped up meatless ham, and then sprinkled with olives and pineapple, and of course more cheese. It tastes amazing of course.

I also make a aldredo, and parmesan cheese mixture, instead of pizza sauce, and drop in some mushrooms, olives, and meatless ground up "burger" ( Morningstar Farms, makes an awesome one) And make a vegeterian pizza out of that.

Just experiment, and add lots of fresh vegatables. You can't go wrong!

Just use tapioca starch or ground flax meal as an egg substitute. Disolve a tablespoon of either in 1/3 cup warm water (per egg to be replaced), cover it and let it gel for a few minutes. It will be the exact consistency of an egg, and will bind the same way. I am allergic to eggs, and use this in all of my baking. Enjoy!
eggless crust from flour that was made of dairy?

you do know what's in your processed products?

how about the cheeses that claim to be vegetarian but end up having dairy in them?

so on.. and the canned elements such as the tomato sauce?

let alone the oils, yeast... the other elements you need...
I have never heard of an eggplant crust... but if it works then Im sure it will be wonderful...

I personally buy a decent cheese pizza from any grocery store and throw my topings on top..... some favorites are goatcheese, tomatoe, olives, onions, spinach!!!!!! Oh and peper juice... I dont like actual peppers on the pizza but the juices on top are wonderful!!!!!
garlic spread, provelone cheese, chopped tomatoes, spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, w/ a little feta cheese sprinkled on top. I'm a lacto-veg, so I'm not against the cheese.
