Which is the better deal: A 12-in. round pizza that costs $8 or a 12-in. square pizza that costs $8 dollars?

Please explain.Which is the better deal: A 12-in. round pizza that costs $8 or a 12-in. square pizza that costs $8 dollars?
The area of the square pizza is 144 in2. The area of the round pizza is about 3.14*36 which is about 113.04 in2. You would get about an inch2 more of pizza with the square one (:
Well assuming the diameter is 12in, not the total area, the square pizza would be better as it is larger.

Think of the shape of a circle and a square. To create a circle, you pretty much have to cut the corners off a square, hence losing pizza!

Hope that helpsWhich is the better deal: A 12-in. round pizza that costs $8 or a 12-in. square pizza that costs $8 dollars?
You don't even have to calculate that one out. The round pizza is like a square pizza with rounded corners missing. So the round pizza has less area than the square, but costs the same. The square pizza is the better deal.
A round pizza would be great because if you put a picture in your mind round pizza would win the square does not have the sides stretched then round and round would be bigger I think.
the square pizza because it has more pizza if you put the circle inside the square.
Depends, what's on the pizza?
